Marset is a rubber-based automotive component that is used as a coating between rims and inner tubes. The marset's function is to protect the inner tire from heat and friction with the rim. Marset is generally used for large vehicles such as trucks, light trucks, minibuses, large transportation equipment and other heavy vehicles. In these types of vehicles, as a result of the large load, the rims will produce heat which can result in damage to the inner tube.
